Description and Service Details

Description (Service)	Program is a volunteer initiative that supports community safety by assisting police officers with crime prevention activities, searches and public events throughout Halton Region supports sworn officers on local crime prevention initiatives and patrols participates in ground searches for lost or missing persons volunteers at large-scale community events throughout the year contributes to community well‑being as part of a trained group of civilian volunteers established in 1989
Hours	Administration Mon-Fri 8 am-4 pm

Eligibility	Ages: 18 year(s) and up canadian citizen or permanent resident of good moral character and habits able to meet training and testing requirements holds an ontario high school diploma or equivalent medically and physically fit for duty holds a valid g‑class ontario driver’s licence with no more than six demerit points able to follow all HRPS rules and complete required physical testing (PREP tests)
