Description (Service)

Represents the Chief of Police and the spirit of the Halton Regional Police Service through musical performances at police and community events

  • performs at more than 40 community and police events each year, including swearing‑in ceremonies, Police Day, volunteer appreciation nights, Police Exemplary Service Medal awards, and Citizen Police Academy graduations
  • consists primarily of civilian volunteer musicians, including 16 pipers, five snare drummers and one bass drummer
  • accepts new members, including both novice and experienced musicians

  • Administration Mon-Fri 8 am-4 pm
  • Practice weekly, Thu evenings
