Canadians of African descent whose heritage derives from a common cultural background and experience.
Hispanic/Latin American Community
Canadians of Spanish or Latin American descent. Latin America is a geographic and cultural region comprising 18 Spanish-speaking countries, Brazil, and Haiti, or generally the areas which Spain and Portugal colonized in the Americas.
Indigenous Communities
Individuals whose ethnic background and ancestry are that of the First Nations, Inuit or Métis communities within Canada.
Cultural/Racial Issues
Programs that provide information and/or services that deal with the topic of culture/multiculturalism, i.e., that relate to the distinctive racial, national, tribal, religious, linguistic and/or cultural origins or backgrounds which groups of people have in common and that sometimes separate one group from another.
