The Burlington Fire Department has teamed up with Recycle My Electronics to recycle end-of-life electronics

Acceptable items can be dropped off between Mon-Fri 7 am-7 pm to:

  • Fire Station No. 4, located at 711 Appleby Line
  • Fire Station No. 7, located at 4100 Dundas St

The proceeds generated will be used to support the Burlington Fire Department's Vehicle Rescue Team

Description (Service)

Citizens can donate old cars, vans or light trucks for use in training exercises, or in accident scenarios in the International Extrication Challenge and Learning Symposium, where fire department participants share rescue techniques and improve life saving measures in their communities  

  • vehicles may be in any condition, do not need to be in running order  
  • $250 tax receipt is issued for a donated vehicle  
  • it is advisable to make a copy of your ownership prior to submitting your vehicle for donation, the original ownership papers are to accompany the vehicle
