Description (Service) | Funding support includes: Burlington Arts and Culture Fund (BACF): facilitated to nurture the quality and capacity of the arts and culture sector in Burlington Community Development Fund: available to support community organizations on a one-time only basis in building capacity to provide programs, services and events for the residents of Burlington Walk the Talk: program created to inspire Burlington residents to take action and commit to active and healthy lifestyle by creating, promoting and participating in neighbourhood walking groups Fee Waiver: one-time waiver available to offset a portion of the rental fee for a facility permitted through the City of Burlington utilized by non-profit organizations offering a program, service or event for Burlington residents Haber Hub: a space within Haber Community Centre that is available free of charge to community neighbourhood groups looking to provide free activities, programming or events to Burlington residents Neighbourhood Community Matching Fund: created to inspire Burlington residents to actively champion projects in the community to improve, build and strengthen Burlington and enhance the quality of life for everyone Community-based programs include: Neighbourhood Connectors: supports residents to enhance connections between neighbours Community Gardens Festivals and Events Neighbourhood Rinks Walk the Talk |
