Mutual support groups whose members are people who are having difficulty controlling their compulsive sexual behaviour and/or emotional attachments, and spouses, partners or other family members who are involved in relationships with individuals exhibiting this type of behaviour. The groups meet in-person, by telephone or via the Internet; provide emotional support, information and resources to help participants avoid destructive sexual behaviour and achieve sexual sobriety; and may include Christian-oriented and secular 12-step groups as well as non-12 step groups.
