• First installment - Feb 25, 2026
• Second installment - Apr 27, 2026

2026 Final (issued in May):

• First installment - Jun 25, 2026
• Second installment - Sep 25, 2026

Payment Options

Pre-authorized tax payment plans:

• completing the Pre-Authorized Tax Payment Plan Application Form allows for the payment in four, nine or 12 monthly installments 

Post-dated cheques corresponding with due dates only:

• cheques can be delivered in person or in the after-hours drop box at Town Hall 

Internet, Telephone or ATM Banking:

• contact your financial institution

In Person:

• by cheque at the ServiceOakville counter on the main floor of Town Hall 
• Please note, cash is not accepted as a form of payment for Property Tax 

After Hours in person:

Credit Card (online only):

Third-party payment providers will accept a payment and send it to the Town of Oakville on your behalf. These providers are independent of the Town of Oakville and operate without any connection with the Town. Customers who choose to use these services do so at their own discretion and the Town of Oakville does not endorse websites, products, services or publications. We provide the links below only for convenience.

PaySimply offers services for property owners to pay their taxes online using credit or debit cards, or Interac e-Transfer. You can also pay in-person using cash or debit at a Canada Post post office. 

Plastiq offers property owners the service to pay their taxes online using credit card payments.

Third-party payment vendors apply a convenience fee to cover payment handling and processing charges which is added to the total amount paid. Please allow up to three to five business days for processing. For assistance with a third-party payment provider, you must contact them directly and not the Town of Oakville.
