A snow windrow is the pile of snow that is left at the bottom of a driveway after the snow plow has cleared the road

• the windrow clearing program helps residents of Oakville who are unable to clear the windrow on their own
• applications will be accepted on a first-come, first serve basis during two application phases and capped to a maximum of 1,100 driveways

• Service Oakville 8 am-5 pm
• Registration is open from Oct 1 to Nov 7, 2025, in two phases (registration will close early if program capicity is reached before Nov 7)
• the program runs between Dec 1 and Mar 31

Open to all residents of Oakville with priority given to residents 65 years of age or older, residents with a physical disability or medical condition, or residents with no able-bodied person under the age of 65 living at their residence

Program registration completed in two phases:

Phase 1

• Priority registration is available only to residents 65 years of age or older, or residents with a physical disability or medical condition, or residents with no able-bodied person under the age of 65 living at their residence
• Priority registration opens on October 1 and will close on October 15

Phase 2

• General public registration will be available to all residents (including those described under Phase 1: Priority registration), on a first-come, first-served bases up to a maximum of 1,100 total program applicants
• General public registration opens on October 20 and will close on November 7, or earlier if program capacity has been reached
