Description (Service)

An 1820's farm home with almost entirely original structure, furnished from the period

  • Built in 1829 at the Thomas farm, west of Sixteen Mile Creek, and was moved to its current location in the mid-1950s
  • Oakville Historical Society volunteers engage in a variety of activities typical of pioneer farm living including cooking at the open hearth
