The purpose of the Orchestra is to enrich the cultural landscape of Oakville by creating a passion for chamber music concerts, developing local amateur musicians of all ages, and promoting Canadian soloists

Primarily amateur musicians presenting the chamber music they love to ever increasing audiences

• core is string players augmented by wind, brass and percussion players, allowing for the presentation of a large musical repertoire by masters of all periods 
• registered charity
• subscription series of small concerts
• youth concert competition providing opportunity for musicians to play with the orchestra as soloist with scholarship to further musical endeavours
• youth and seniors outreach providing cultural enrichment
