Description and Service Details
Description (Service) 20+ member organizations of the Council are committed to ending violence against women and children
  • members include violence against women services, child welfare, counselling agencies, health services, education, justice, and legal services 
  • active participation by those with lived experience through Survivor Advocates For Empowerment (SAFE) 
  • community building, education, and advocacy services- no therapeutic service are provided
Hours Meetings take place on the fourth Thu in Sep, Nov, Feb and May each year

  • Council consists of members from community organizations interested in ending violence against women & children  
  • membership is renewed annually
