Description (Service) Rescues dogs abandoned in high kill shelters with the goal of placing them in foster homes or adoptive homes
  • beagles, some black labs and coonhounds
  • all dogs live in foster homes until adopted
  • dogs can be adopted anywhere in Ontario
  • transportation is available
Adoption process includes:
  • a completed application, reference checks and an adoption fee
  • a home visit and a meeting with the dog
  • all dogs are fully vetted by a veterinarian
  • the veterinary medical paperwork will be given to the new owners on adoption
Adoption events are frequently held where the dogs are on view for people to meet - check Petfinder or Facebook for upcoming events
