Country Heritage Park (CHP) provides a unique link, creating a rural-urban bridge that connects schools, families, and residents throughout Ontario with food and farming. Park has 80 acres of land to grow fresh local produce, and also grow year-round in the dedicated Aquaponic and Hydroponic facility. It is a thriving cultural landmark offering educational progams that focus on farming, sustainability and cultural history, using more than 30 heritage buildings and displays depicting the evolution of agriculture and rural life.

Country Heritage Park (CHP) is a thriving cultural landmark offering educational progams that focus on farming, sustainability and cultural history, using more than 30 heritage buildings and displays depicting the evolution of agriculture and rural life.

  • Serves as a vital resource for preserving agricultural heritage, promoting sustainable farming practices, and building an understanding of the critical role that agriculture plays in our lives
  • Plays an important role to inspire a new generation of farmers, foster an appreciation for our agricultural heritage, and cultivate a more sustainable future.

Services and programs include:

  • farming activities
  • Educational Programs led by trained and costumed interpreters
  • special events
  • open year round for pre-booked education programs, private and group tours, business groups/meetings, weddings/family events
  • rental facilities available
  • Private tours or pre-bookings only. Not Open to the Public.
