North Halton Hospice (formerly Townsend-Smith Foundation) is a community-based organization dedicated to providing compassionate hospice palliative care, grief and bereavement support, and wellness programs for individuals and families across Milton, Halton Hills, and surrounding communities. The organization is working to build a 10-bed residential hospice in Georgetown to ensure that high-quality, dignified 
end-of-life care is available close to home. 

Continuing on a capital campaign to fund the building and equipping of a 10 bed hospice in North Halton

• Land for future development has been secured at Trafalgar Rd and 5 Side Road and will be home to North Halton's first residential hospice
• In partnership with North Halton Hospice, Acclaim Health provides Hospice and Bereavement Support when faced with a life-threatening illness or the loss of a loved one
• Volunteers always wanted for community events and fundraising initiatives
