Peer support for individuals, families and caregivers who are affected by mental health challenges/disorders * the main purpose of the group is to provide a safe place for people to learn more about ways to improve and maintain mental wellness, receive non-judgmental support and share experiences

The focus of monthly meetings is wellness through education and sharing

• guest speakers include individuals who live with a mood disorder, psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses, social workers and specialists in nutrition and relaxation
• video presentations by medical specialists or professional documentaries
• open discussions
• no registration or membership required
• all those affected by mental health challenge/supporting others are welcome
• refer to the Mental Health Services offered by the Canadian Mental Health Association, Halton Branch for more information
