						Community-based,  non-charitable organization that provides information and support to myeloma patients, family and caregivers in the Halton, Peel and Hamilton region * myeloma is a rare cancer of the bone marrow affecting the production of red cells, white cells and platelets, and can lead to anemia, infections, renal failure, bone damage and pain
  Services include:- Support: nine scheduled meetings that provide opportunity for sharing experience and the time to socialize, peer to peer support
 - Education: guest presenters who are myeloma and healthcare specialists
 - Advocacy: bring awareness to myeloma, and to inform the local community of patient treatment challenges
