| Description (Service) | One of 13 regional cancer centres in Ontario * offers services for diagnosis and specialized treatment for cancer * health care team may include oncologists, oncology nurses, oncology pharmacists, dietitians, medication access specialist/drug navigator, psychosocial oncology team, radiation therapists, hospital chaplain, volunteers, etc. Outpatient services:
Palliative care - therapists comfort and support individuals and families who are living with a terminal illness * patients may be admitted to the palliative care unit from home or hospital Services and Programs:
