Description (Service) COVID19 Services provided by phone, including Mental Health Support 437-245-2788, and psychiatric consultations; meal support and delivery for most vulnerable registered clients; groups and in person programs suspended

Ethnoracial mental health centre, including individual and community support (case management), support groups and peer support, family support, drop-in, social rehabilitation, life skills development, community kitchen, and psychiatric consultation
  • consumer/survivor initiatives to address economic and social barriers, such as employment preparation, computer training, and literacy and ESL classes
  • leadership and advocacy training
  • alternative models of support and services, including art and music therapy
  • community outreach, including anti-racism education and training in mental health

2SLGBTQ + Case Management
For members of racialized communities, includes trauma-informed counselling, drop in programs, harm reduction
  • anti-racism, anti-oppression framework
Hours COVID-19 Remote service and support, Mon-Fri 9 am-5 pm; Mental Health Support by phone, also Mon-Fri 8 am-8 pm by appointment
Areas Served Durham Region ; Halton Region ; Peel Region ; Toronto ; York County
Eligibility Persons 16 years and older from racialized communities, with severe mental health problems/illnesses and substance abuse * consumers/survivors
