Assessment, treatment and referrals

Concurrent Outpatient Medical and Psychological Addiction Support Services (COMPASS)
  • outpatient medical and psychosocial assessment and intervention services for clients with addiction/concurrent disorder issues
  • addiction information session (AIS) includes opioid overdose prevention education, and Naloxone training and distribution
  • medication therapy for alcohol, opioids, tobacco and benzodiazepine substance use disorder
  • maintenance pharmacotherapies for opioid addiction (methadone, suboxone/buprenophine)
  • alcohol use assessment,and relapse prevention including withdrawal medication
  • Medical assessment regarding problematic use of psycho-stimulants (crystal meth, cocaine, crack, cannabis)
  • brief counselling, treatment planning and referral to day and residential programs
  • education and training for health professionals
Rainbow Services (LGBTIQ2S) Addiction Program
  • no referral required for individuals 18 years and older
  • assessment and referrals
  • individual and group therapy
  • concurrent disorder programs (mental health and substance use)
  • day, residential and support programs
  • relapse prevention
  • psychiatric consultation
Women's Addiction and Concurrent Disorder Service
