Description (Service)	An independent agency who ensures that public complaints made about the conduct of RCMP members are examined fairly and impartially receives complaints from the public and conducts reviews when complainants are not satisfied with the RCMP's handling of their complaints Commission is not part of the RCMP
Hours	Mon-Fri 8 am-5 pm
Areas Served	Canada ; Ontario
Eligibility	A complaint must meet the following criteria: the person complained about must have been an RCMP member or other person appointed or employed under Part I of the RCMP Act at the time of the alleged misconduct (even if they are not any longer) the complaint must be filed within one year of the alleged misconduct, unless an extension is granted by the Commission the alleged misconduct must not relate to an RCMP Code of Conduct decision under Part IV of the RCMP Act
Application	Complaints can be made online by fax or by mail a printable Commission's Complaint form is available on the website available in 16 different languages
