Description and Service Details
Description (Service) COVID-19 Update: As of July 5, 2021, all 14 branches are open for public entry. Masks are mandatory and screening is required. Proof of full vaccination or medical exemption and valid government ID is required for entry to all library branches (age 12 and older). Curbside pick up is available by still available by appointment. Computer access is available. See Wellington County Library for current hours and services.

Library system consists of 14 branches located in communities throughout the County.

Hours Mon, Wed, Fri 10 am-5 pm ; Tue, Thu 10 am-8 pm ; Sat 10 am-3 pm.
Eligibility People who reside in Wellington County, pay taxes to the County, or live within the area of a neighbouring library system with reciprocal borrowing privileges.

Students who attend school within the County, but do not live within its boundaries, are exempt from the non-resident fee.

People who do not live in Wellington County or pay taxes to the County may use any Library branch but must pay a non-resident membership (currently $120 per family).
Application Apply for a library card at any branch.
Languages English; Other - French language materials for children are available
Fees None - for residents of Wellington County and eligible non-residents.
