Description and Service Details

Description (Service) Assists members with the transition into a new career in the building and construction industry
  • including administrative, engineering and management positions
  • offers apprenticeship opportunities to achieve a journey person qualification
  • Approved grants for 2022:1).
  • Military Connected Student in Trades Pilot Program (MCSTPP) with Fanshawe College and the Loyalist College, which will allow its military-connected graduates to have the opportunity to use services of H2H to seek skilled trades jobs across Canada2).
  • Skills Advantage Pilot Program -providing free safety training courses for transitioning military members in Ontario3).
  • Pathways to Post Military Employment-helping the Homeless veterans in Ontario  find apprenticeship opportunities

Eligibility
  • Former military, transitioning and those serving either with the Regular or Reserve components of the Canadian Forcese
  • Spouses and children (between 18-25) of military members serving or who have served
  • Aghanistan interpreters
  • Individuals who were given a dishonorable release from the Forces are not eligible
