Description (Service)	Provides opportunities to coaches, athletes, parents, and organizations to enhance the sporting experience in Burlington volunteers interested in preserving sport history assist in organizing special events (Recognition Awards Dinner and Sports Week) supports the values and principles of True Sport and ParticipACTION Projects include: Annual Sport Recognition and Awards Event Burlington Sports Week and Sports Day in Canada, Burlington Recognition Awards (displayed in the Haber Recreation Centre on Dundas St) include: A.J. Dunn Award for Sport Person of the Year Burlington Athletes of the Year (female and male winners in six categories: Junior Athlete, Athlete, Master Athlete, High School, Special Olympics, and Parasport Athlete) Official of the Year Volunteer Sport Builder Champion of Sport (a coaching award) Burlington Team of the Year see website for nomination forms
