Grassroots (not incorporated) nonprofit organization that provides time, talent and tangible goods to support clients of mental health agencies and youth based organizations of Halton

Offers support to local social service organizations and individuals and their families with mental health and poverty issues 
 
Donations may include:

• knitted blankets, scarves, mitts, hats, socks and slippers
• collection drives organized by local businesses, sports teams, schools, neighbourhoods and families (personal care products, winter woollies, sweet treats, small gift items and gift cards are accepted - all items must be new)
• volunteers are welcome 

Annual Holiday Kindness Drive begins each November

• Kindness Care Paks are distributed in December to residents who have been referred by social service agencies
• Paks can include grooming products, winter woollies (hats, gloves, mitts, scarves and socks), sweet treats, small gifts and gift cards/certificates for meals, groceries, clothing, movies and services

No formal office hours

Staff from local agencies must connect with AOKN directly to apply for their client
