Description (Service) Committee promotes the conservation of buildings that have architectural and historical significance
  • has created an inventory of historical homes within the city and develops detailed resumes of properties which may be worthy of designation  
  • acts as an advisory committee to Council and comments on applications to renovate or restore historic properties  
  • also hosts an annual Heritage Awards evening

Online database contains information and maps for both designated and non-designated properties in the Municipal Register of Cultural Heritage Resources
