Description (Service)

After more than 20 years of restoration work, the newest park (which was once a quarry) is open to the public.

  • Features restored land, a lake, and habitat features to support native wildlife and vegetation
  • New natural playground
  • Boat rentals
  • Park development will occur in phases over the next few years, so accessibility to the park is still intermittent as restoration continues

Open daily between 8:30 am to 9:00 pm.

  • Park hours vary seasonally.
  • Area 8 is not open to the public in the winter.
