Description and Service Details
Description (Service) | Acoustic Neuroma Association (ANAC) of Canada is a peer-led, volunteer, charitable organization, providing information and support to patients and their families who have been diagnosed with the rare brain tumour acoustic neuroma (vestibular schwannoma). ANAC promotes early diagnosis leading to successful treatment and support of post-surgical issues for individuals. ANAC supports ongoing research, information sharing and public education of acoustic neuroma tumours. |

Meetings | Chapter Support Meetings are held in major cities across Canada on a monthly and bi-monthly basis. Support Groups are led by volunteer Chapter Leaders who offer support and opportunity for patients to communicate and network with other facing similar diagnosis. |
